Look at the projected path of this hurricane. It has been moving in a nice northerly direction off the east cost of the USA for the last few days. Drifting a little east and west every now and then like storms may want to do. Just to keep us all guessing.
But when I look at the projections from the main stream news organizations this huge powerful storm is going to make a quick left turn right into the most densely populated area of the country. You know, the area with more most TV news viewers.
It’s hard for me to believe that a storm like this can just make a left turn like a kid out on a bicycle for an afternoon ride through the neighborhood. I will admit that my meteorological credentials are on the weak side. If fact, I can pretty confidently reach out the door and say that it is raining when I feel wetness on my hand. That is about the extent of it.
But how can a storm this powerful just all-of-a-sudden turn left?
Sure they have their crews of reporters out showing you pictures of wind, rain, snow, and high waves. That is to be expected when a storm is off the coast. And nothing makes better television than some guy standing out in a storm.
But I have some serious doubts this Sandy thing is going to make a left turn any minute now.
Who is to benefit from this?
Beside the grocery stores that have seen their shelves picked clean, this could be a plot from the sandbag cartel. And those lazy Wall Streeters who are always looking for way to snag an occasional long weekend. They don’t have to move sandbags. They can just hire some Democrat ninety-nine percenters to do that for them.
I guess in a few hours we will all know what direction Sandy is really going. Just to be on the safe side I will be watching from my cosy storm bunker.
